Our website uses the consent technology of Cookiebot to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your terminal device or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in accordance with data protection law.

When you enter our website, a connection is established to the servers of Cookiebot in order to obtain your consents and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. Cookiebot then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents given to you or their revocation. The data collected in this way will be stored until you request us to delete it, delete the Cookiebot cookie yourself or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal storage obligations remain unaffected.

Cookiebot is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

b) Consent with ConsentManager

Our website uses the ConsentManager technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your terminal device or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in accordance with data protection law.

The provider of this technology is Jaohawi AB, Håltegelvägen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden, https://www.consentmanager.de (hereinafter "ConsentManager").

When you enter our website, a connection is established to the servers of ConsentManager in order to obtain your consents and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

Information on data transfer to the USA and other third countries

We use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

a) Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: "Google").

Google Analytics allows us to analyze the behavior of users. In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

  • Operating system used,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • Time of the server request,

are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Further, Google Analytics uses various modeling approaches to augment the data sets collected and employs machine learning technologies in data analysis. Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting).

Google-Signals

We use Google signals. When you visit our website, Google Analytics collects your location, search history and YouTube history, as well as demographic data (visitor data). This data can be used for personalized advertising with the help of Google signal. If you have a Google account, Google Signal's visitor data is linked to your Google account and used for personalized advertising messages. The data is also used to create anonymized statistics on the user behavior of our users.

Google observes the data protection provisions of the "EU/US Privacy Shield" and is registered with the "US Privacy Shield" program of the US Department of Commerce. Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Details can be found here:
https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

In addition, we have concluded an order processing contract with Google for the use of Google Analytics and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics. Through this contract, Google assures that they process the data in accordance with the DSGVO and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject.

The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these web pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Browser Plugin

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we point out that in this case not all functions of this website can be used to their full extent.

Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in the Google Analytics help: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

b) Google Tagmanager

We use the Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to embed tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies and does not perform any independent analyses. It only serves to manage and play out the tools integrated via it. However, the Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States may be transferred.

The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in a fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. Provided that a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, to the extent that the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time.

For more information about the Google Tag Manager, see the usage guidelines for this product.

c) Google Conversion Tracking

We use Google Conversion Tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: "Google") on our website.

With the help of Google conversion tracking, Google and we can recognize whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked and how often. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and what actions they performed. We do not receive any information with which we can personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days. If the user visits certain pages of the AdWords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites.

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and §25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google complies with the data protection regulations of the "US Privacy Shield" and is registered with the "US Privacy Shield" program of the US Department of Commerce.

In addition, we have concluded an order processing agreement with Google for the use of Google AdWords. Through this contract, Google assures that it will process the data in accordance with the basic data protection regulation and guarantees the protection of the rights of the data subject.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also reject the setting of a cookie required for this – for example using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain.

Google's privacy policy for conversion tracking can be found here.

d) Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook tracking pixel. The social network Facebook is offered by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

The Facebook tracking pixel can be used to track the behavior of page visitors after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous for us, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us.

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Details can be found here:
https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and
https://facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

To the extent that personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 DSGVO). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its forwarding to Facebook. The processing by Facebook that takes place after the onward transfer is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in a joint processing agreement. The text of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the privacy information when using the Facebook tool and for the privacy-secure implementation of the tool on our website.

Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g., requests for information) regarding data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert the data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

9. Plugins and tools

a) YouTube

We use components (videos) of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "YouTube").

In doing so we use the option of the "extended data protection mode" provided by YouTube. According to YouTube, this mode has the effect that YouTube does not store any information about the visitors on this website before they watch the video. The disclosure of data to YouTube partners, on the other hand, is not necessarily excluded by the extended privacy mode. In this way, YouTube - regardless of whether you watch a video - establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube may store various cookies on your end device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors of this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts. If applicable, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appropriate presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, to the extent that the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be withdrawn at any time. For more information about YouTube-related privacy, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

b) Vimeo

This website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo video, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. In the process, the Vimeo server is informed which of our pages you have visited. c) Google Fonts (local hosting)

Our website uses so-called Google Fonts, which are provided by Google, for the consistent display of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.
